About this Scholarship / Model
The Scholarship of Integration (SoI) brings together the SoR (epistemological dimension) and SoL&T (pedagogical and ontological dimensions) in alignment with the Axiological dimension. As scholars, our research (derived from community partners) influences our teaching and learning (curriculum and approach) which in turn influences our next phase of engagement for research, to influence our teaching and learning.
It is thus a continuous cycle of facilitation, reflection, learning, integration and promotion of engaged scholarship in all its forms, made possible through capacity building and mentoring between role-players and stakeholders, through enhanced partnerships aimed at social transformation.
